The coral tree has leaves again!

Remember my rant about the butchered tree? Well, I'm pleased to let you know the tree is coming back. In fact, the leaves are coming in fast and furiously. So maybe I shouldn't have been so hard on the butcher - oops, tree trimmer.

Here's how it looked yesterday.

My succulent garden is looking pretty good too.

Just read your review of my story on tnbw and went to your bio. Had to continue once I read all that you had published so, here I am. Sorry, no time right now to spend on a review on tnbw but definitly wanted to comment on your blog. Yes, your succulent garden does look good - gorgeous in fact. Is the tree a Crepe Myrtle? I wanted to shoot my tree trimmer too, though he was my husband. And yet, he was right. After a huge haircut the tree grew much fuller and my worries were for naught. I'll see you on tnbw again soon. Thanks so much, Linda, for coming by. Yes, I also found out that my worries were for naught as well.
It is a coral tree. I just love the fullness of it and mourn when it is barren of leaves.
All best,
Madeline
