I was pinballed from one agency to another and ultimately gave up--all for about thirty words. So I wrote the lyrics out of the story. On the other hand, W. W. Norton and Company charged me $75 for a quote and it took less than three days, so hooray for Norton!Ed O'Malleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03409937036939919057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1773382509071881565.post-21686558247971692992016-05-20T07:27:23.259-07:002016-05-20T07:27:23.259-07:00Is Juanita the person who makes the actual decisio...Is Juanita the person who makes the actual decisions? Because she told me she isn't and that there are people above her in upper management who make the decisions. But I don't know if that's true and I'm trying to find out their names so i can reach them. Do you know if it's true and if so, any names? It would be extremely helpful and thanks in advanceAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329742060953900419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1773382509071881565.post-473564966706356492016-05-20T07:25:20.246-07:002016-05-20T07:25:20.246-07:00Could you tell me if Juanita is the one who makes ...Could you tell me if Juanita is the one who makes the decisions? Because I went through her and got rejected and her explanation to me was that it was not up to her; she was merely an administrator and it was up to the people above her. Actually I didn't need one since the quote was in the public domain.

Getting to the right place to get permission to use the Paul Simon quote was the most difficult. But once I found it, the process was pretty straight forward. Here's that information:

Juanita DeSilva
Paul Simon Music
1619 Broadway, Suite 500
New York, NY 10019
212-541-7571 (bus)
212-582-7607 (fax)
juanita@paulsimonmusic.com

Hope this helps. Good luck. Just remember it's a lengthy process so give yourself a lot of time. madeline40https://www.blogger.com/profile/06549058012582815995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1773382509071881565.post-43886984599516285102012-11-26T07:17:45.849-08:002012-11-26T07:17:45.849-08:00Hi, How did this work out?
